The Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo, has doled out portfolios to the two new ministers who were confirmed three weeks ago.
Stephen Ocheni and Suleiman Hassan were confirmed in May, half a month after they were affirmed by the Senate, because of President Muhammadu Buhari’s absence.
Mr. Ocheni will fill the vacuum made by the demise of James Ocholi who hailed from a similar state, Kogi State. He is to continue as Minister of State in the Ministry of Labor and Productivity.
Suleiman Hassan who was delegated to fill the Gombe State space will continue as Minister of State, Power, Works and Housing.
Mr. Osinbajo likewise swore in 15 permanent secretaries to fill the vacancies in different government agencies.
